Every edition came with the Sangoran Wayfarer's Armor Set as a pre-order bonus, and Bandai Namco confirm the armour can be obtained in-game later anyway. A head start, not an exclusive.
No edition got early access. Bandai Namco's words:
"There is no early access with any edition of The Blood of Dawnwalker. Whether you choose Standard, Day One, Eclipse or Collector's, everyone starts playing on September 3, 2026."
Bandai Namco Entertainment
Day One is a first-print retail run, while stocks last, and Rebel Wolves have said contents can vary by region.
Performance
The console reveal originally shipped with no 60 fps option anywhere, not even PS5 Pro. Just 30 fps Quality and 40 fps Balanced. After the backlash, Rebel Wolves reversed it on 24 August:
"Performance Mode was already in the works, but it was still being tested. We simply weren't ready to promise it yet. We heard your feedback."
Rebel Wolves, 24 August 2026
| Platform | Modes |
|---|---|
| PS5 / Xbox Series X | 60 Performance · 40 Balanced · 30 Quality, via a day-one patch |
| PS5 Pro | as above, plus additional visual enhancements |
| Xbox Series S | 30 fps only |
Performance mode ships in the day-one patch.
PC
| Tier | GPU | CPU | RAM |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | GTX 1060 / RX 580 | i5-11400F / Ryzen 7 2700X | 16 GB |
| Recommended, 1080p60 | RTX 2060 Super / GTX 1070 Ti / RX 5700 / Arc A750 | i7-11700K / Ryzen 7 5700X | 16 GB |
| High, 1440p60 | RTX 4060 / RX 7600 XT / Arc B580 | i7-11700K / Ryzen 7 5700X | 16 GB |
60 GB SSD, DirectX 12. Every tier assumes upscaling set to Balanced. None of these are native figures, which is also why I'd wait for real benchmarks before committing on Steam Deck.

Difficulty
The PS5 screen offers four presets, Story, Fair, Challenging, Duelist, plus a Customise button.✓ The Duelist card reads "No directional indicators." The Perfect Block tutorial says the timing indicator shows "on Story, Fair, and Challenging."✓ I haven't opened Customise yet, so what it lets you mix is not on this page.
Whichever you pick, one loading tip is worth carrying into the first fight: "While Omniblock consumes stamina, using Directional Block does not."✓
Confirmed
Two sources, every row labelled. official is published by Rebel Wolves or Bandai Namco. ✓ my save is something I saw on my own PS5, with the date I confirmed it. If something isn't here, I haven't seen it myself yet.
