Infamy
The valley pushes back.
Infamy tracks how much you disrupt Brencis' operation. Raiding blood warehouses, cutting down soldiers, wrecking supply lines. Brencis answers with edicts: proclamations that make the world harder to move through. The developers' framing is direct: the higher your infamy, the harsher the edicts, and the more challenging the world becomes.
It starts earlier than you would think. Reaching Infamy I was enough to trigger a decree on my save — ON PROTECTION OF HABITATIONS — Additional patrols in settlements — and a crier read it out in the street the next morning.✓
The Officers
Below Brencis sit his officers. Ambrus is the one shown in official footage, and he carries his own aggression meter tracking how personally he wants you dead. Fill it and a new questline unlocks against him, feeding into how the confrontation with Brencis eventually plays out. Multiple open-world activities are tied to each officer's operations, and they are not free: finishing one of Ambrus's Collectors camps cost me three segments, charged when the activity ended rather than when I started it.✓
Ordinary consequence
Underneath it all sits ordinary consequence. Rebel Wolves' own example: kill a village blacksmith and the forge closes, so Coen takes his business elsewhere. On a clock, in a valley that isn't getting friendlier.
Confirmed
Two sources, every row labelled. official is published by Rebel Wolves or Bandai Namco. ✓ my save is something I saw on my own PS5, with the date I confirmed it. If something isn't here, I haven't seen it myself yet.
